Thrapston were rarely troubled in the return leg of this
back to back league fixture. They started brightly and dominated
the majority of the first period, ending the half 3 – 0
in front with goals from Matthew Smith, Luke Stevens, and
Connor Ryan.
Thrapston started the second half strongly and went further
ahead through Connor Ryan and Luke Stevens. Danesholme gamely
battled on and were unlucky on a number of occasions not
to score, in fact it was a Thrapston own goal that gave Danesholme
their consolation goal.
