After last weeks impressive victory over Grange A, it
was the turn of Grange B to take on the might of the Yellows.
Straight from the start the Grange defence was put under
immense pressure, with the Yellows knocking the ball around
Brazilian style it would only be a matter of time before
the flood gates opened. A good ball into the box found Max
who beat two players and fired into the Grange net to put
us 0 - 1 up. Now it was the turn of Harry to take up the
scoring mantel after missing last weeks fixture through
illness. Some great work in the corner by Scott saw the ball
break to Harry who finished in style. 0 - 2. Liam on for
Jack. The ball was bouncing around in the Grange box like
a pinball as the Yellows piled on the pressure. Another great
move saw Harry score his 2nd and our 3rd to send us into
the break a very comfortable
0 -3 up.
The 2nd half saw us continue to pile on the pressure.
Harry quickly added to his 1st half double to complete his
hat-trick and put us 0 - 4 to the good. The style of play
and quality of passing is giving Grange the run-around. With
the Yellows using the full width of the pitch to open up
the Grange defence Max makes it 0 -5. Liam on for Jack. Try
as we might to add to the score the Grange box was becoming
very congested with defenders and difficult to break down.
Then just before the end and from one of their only forays
into our half we got caught out at the back and conceded
only our 5th goal of the season. Final score 1 - 5.
Another good performance in which we moved the ball very
well.
Thanks to the parents for their great support as ever.
