Thrapston U7’s lost this match 6-0 to the excellent
Eagles team.
But it was the overall team performance in both halves that impressed both coaches & parents
alike.
With the Eagles attacking heavily in the first half, the performances of Dominic & Tom
for their tackles, Matt for his saves & Kyle & Fergus for their battling
qualities, we kept the score down to a very very respectable half time score
of 2-0.
Jake, Aiden & Adam came on for Tom, Fergus & Dominic & all defended
for their lives as waves of attacks from the eagles were stopped by excellent
tackles & impressive clearances.
We did have a few chances to attack ourselves with Kyle & Fergus both making
good runs only to be stopped by last ditch Eagles defencive tackles.
Superb display by every member of the team who really gave the Eagles a hard
time, & made them work for their win.
