Thrapston were beaten by a wonder goal in the final minute
after another brilliant performance. Corby went ahead in
the first half through a “Paul Robinson” moment
for goalkeeper Thomas Stoker. Thomas went on to redeem himself
with a string of good saves. Thrapston equalised and also
went ahead with goals from Matthew Sharpe. George Peet had
a fantastic opportunity to extend the lead and finish the
game off but put the ball just wide.
2-2 would probably been a fair result however the goal in
the final minute was a cruel blow. A good performance from
everyone involved.
