Having lost 8-1 to Kestrels last week it was the return
match and one which the Thrapston Team must have been a little
worried about. It was nothing of the sort as Thrapston took
the game to Kestrels and deservedly took the lead through
Matthew Sharpe following a great run from Sam Rouwenhorst.
Kestrels equalised with a goal which would grace the Carling
Cup final this afternoon!
At half time it was 1-1 and a great first half performance. The game ran away
from Thrapston in the second half and they conceded four goals without a reply
but played extremely well indeed.
