Two goals for Tom & one from Peter secured an excellent
team performance against a stubborn Moulton side.
We kicked off downhill & within seconds were in the attacking area, with
Fergus, Peter & Tom all going close with early shots.
Superb passing & moving all round as we pinned the Magpies in their own half,
then as their keeper kicked the ball out, Tom was there to rifle a shot straight
back at the goal to score from 15 yards out!
A corner came soon after for us & as the ball fell to Tom, he turned & shot
from a tight angle to put us 2-0 up at half time.
Excellent play as the Magpies only got into our half on a couple of occasions
in the first half.
The second half started very well also, as a number of attacks were only stopped
by some great saves from the Moulton keeper.
Fergus picked the ball up on the wing, to put an excellent ball through to peter,
who ran on to let a hard shot go at goal which bounced over the keeper to go
3-0 up.
A good late goal for Moulton was to late for any revival as our lads looked tired
from all the hard work they put in.
