It fast and furious match in which Thrapston played their
best football of the season, they were undone by three goals
on the break and a number of missed chances. Thrapston started
the brightest and applied constant pressure to the Corby
goal, they were unable to capitalise when Archie narrowly
missed wide.
From 2-0 down Matthew finished precisely to set up a grandstand
finish in which a draw would have been the least Thrapston
deserved. A great performance and one which bodes very well
for the future.
