The Under 16's lost
1 - 3 to Isham Cobras in the semi-final of the League Cup.
Thrapston started brighter, dominating the first half but
were unlucky to go in at the break 0 – 1 down after
Isham scored from a free kick with ten minutes of the half
remaining. The second half was more even, but it was Isham
who extended their lead scoring on the break. Shortly after
they were 3 – 0 up following a shot by the Isham striker
beating the stand-in keeper James Loader. Thrapston closed
the gap with five minutes remaining after Cory James was
fouled in the area, Andy Millard stepping up to score the
penalty but it came too late for a come back and the final
score remained 1 – 3.
