Today was the day we tried a new formation to accommodate our newer players. The strong winds didn't help but we played things very tight indeed in the first half, although our man-marking showed signs of slipping at times. After some fast and furious play, we came in half-time, proudly holding a 0-0 draw, thanks to some very good defending and goalkeeping. However, in the second half, we were playing against the increasingly strong wind and this more than helped the Warriors as and they used it to score. We battled back but eventually it was then that our man-marking did slip and they scored twice more before the final whistle.

A valiant performance and some real signs of improving team-play. We just need to get back on the score sheet!

 

Man of the Match: Ethan-another courageous performance where he held his own and pulled off some excellent saves.

 

    It was an awful day to play or even support football and we do appreciate all the Mothers that made the effort today! Happy Mother's Day to you all!
