Firstly I feel I must apologise to all the mother’s
that gave up the chance of a mothers day lie in to stand
and support their sons on a bitterly cold and windy day only
to watch the worst performance of the season.
With a strong wind at their backs in the first half Thrapston
failed to create any chances and could only muster 1 shot
in the whole half.
Second half saw Hellenic take full advantage of the wind
and within 10 mins had put 3 past a shoddy and poor Thrapston
team. Work rate, attitude, conviction were all missing and
the only highlight was a neat goal by Man of the Match Aaron
Wright. Had it not been for his goal it would have been impossible
to even consider giving this award to any other player.
All in all, after the last two weeks performances a truly
shocking display……..enough said.
