Thrapston dominated throughout but it
wasn't until the final minutes of the game that they made
the game safe. Rangers took an early lead from a penalty
but Kai Robinson equalised shortly after, chipping the
stranded keeper. Thrapston then took the lead following
some dogged work from Adam Tutty who scrambled the ball
home. Half time 1 - 2. Ringstead made it 2 - 2 almost from
the restart but then Thrapston took control, keeping
Rangers on the back foot for most of the game. Thrapston re-took
the lead after Josh Catchpole's snap shot on the turn into
the right hand side of the goal. Ringstead were awarded a penalty
against the run of play after the keeper fouled the striker
to make it 3 - 3 but again the away side responded well with
Kai Robinson scoring an excellent goal on the break. Thrapston
finish the game with another goal, this time a penalty converted
by Josh Catchpole for a handball. Final score 3 - 5.
