A winning 6 -1 result to Thrapston doesn’t reflect
how difficult Burton made it for them. An early opener by
Tyrone Love from midfield was soon followed up by a brace
from Alex Palmer. Before half time another midfielder Alex
Rutter made it 4 – 0.
Burton showed great attitude in the second half and deserved
their goal from a long range free kick.
Against the play Oliver Brown poached a classic strikers
goal before an unfortunate own goal drew the game to the
end.
