Ok, so this was our heaviest defeat, but far from our worst
performance.
Against the extremely talented Eagles team, who pass the
ball beautifully, & shoot at will, we battled & worked
so hard in terrible conditions.
Peter ran very well with the ball in the first half only
to be stopped by the eagles stubborn defence.
Kyle & Tom worked very hard in midfield with excellent
tackles & passing.
Dom was in great form with his defensive challenges. But
despite the hard work we were 4-0 down at half time.
Our half time substitutions came on (Fergus, Kyle & Adam)
to add some fresh legs & Adam was inspired in his defensive
tackling. Fergus worked very hard as usual but unfortunately
it was not to be our day.
But the one performance that blew everyone away was Aiden
in goal!
Outstanding is the only word I can use for him. If not for
his brave diving saves, the score could have been a lot higher.
Well done lads I was proud of you all!
