Terrific start for Thrapston scoring an early
goal, unfortunately this week luck was “against us”
with two players out due to injuries meaning no subs for us,
also with the ball bouncing just right for Kettering gave
them 2 goals before the half time break.
Half time 2 – 1
The second half was where the lack of subs really showed,
however Thrapston battled hard and had two good chances saved,
Kettering came back with another two goals ending the game
at 4 –1
Fair to say that the result really didn’t reflect the
way the game was played both sides looked evenly matched and
both played with excellent spirit, also credit to the referee
who gave an exemplary performance.
