Thrapston tasted defeat for the second time this season with
a well below par performance. After going 1 – 0 up early
in the game Thrapston’s defensive game then fell apart.
A goalkeeping error and a number of defensive errors allowing
Ise Lodge to go into half time, 2 – 1 up.
The second half saw little improvement from the first from
a Thrapston point of view and again poor defending and a further
goalkeeping error put Ise Lodge 4 -1 up. Had it not been for
some great defending by Man of the Match Jake Hankins 4 could
well have been 6 or more !!!!
Connor Ryan though continued his rich goalscoring form by
scoring Thrapstons second just before the end of the game.
Thrapston lacked desire and motivation, this was visible
for to all spectators, a number of player seriously have to
consider whether their levels of effort and desire are acceptable
and that next week they will have to prove to the management
that they are willing to play to there full potential when
pulling on the Thrapston shirt.
