Slow out of the blocks Thrapston found themselves
under pressure from a hungry Aztecs and despite danger from
forward Paul Spicker, Aztecs took the lead soon to be followed
by a second. Disappointing performances from several Thrapston
plays earnt a rocket at half time resulting in a second half
dominated by the home team. Jack Rawcliffe made it 1-2 as
the tempo increased. Robust defending from Ryan Kirk and Will
Anns allowed Thrapstons midfield to push forward time and
again but the equalizer was not to be.
