The Under 18's lost their opening
game of the season 5 - 1 away at Ise Lodge. The scorline does
not reflect what was a close game. At half time the score
was still 0-0 with Thrapston having the better opportunities.
An injury to Dave Cunningham early in the second half caused
problems in Thrapston's defence and they conceded three sloppy
goals from crosses and a 4th from a straight through ball.
Chris Meadway pulled one back with a neat finish from just
inside the 18yard box. But Ise lodge added another later on.
