The lost
1 - 3 at home to Danesholme Vikings. In a game of two halves,
Thrapston went in at half time 1 - 0 up with the home side
creating most chances but only an own goal their reward. The
second half saw Thrapston on the back foot for most of the
half and three defensive errors gave Danesholme the points.
Final score 1 - 3.
The drew 2 -2 away at
Stanwick Rovers. A great start from Thrapston with Scott Allen
scoring against his old club within 5 minutes. However 2 goals
from Stanwick saw them lead at half-time.
Thrapston totally dominated the 2nd half, but couldn’t
find the back of the net until Leo Adams scored with a superb
free kick. A well deserved point, but left to rue what might
have been.
The lost
0 - 4 at home to Obelisk United. A lacklustre performance
from Thrapston, again riddled with unforced errors cost us
dearly against an average Obelisk team. We have to learn from
these errors and move on but we keep making the same mistakes.
We have the ability to compete in this league and are selling
ourselves short.
