If this is to be the standard of football for
the coming season then there is a feast of football to look
forward to. Thrapston dominated this match and but for some
excellent goalkeeping allied with brave and resolute defending,
Thrapston would have had a hatful.
Goals from Tyrone Love, Alexander Palmer, Ryan Caller and
debutant Charlie Whight secured the victory but it was the
manner that was the most impressive with some exquisite approach
play from all around the team.
The goal conceded was from a soft free kick and as the defence
slumbered Hellenic nipped in at the back post.
A lovely day and a lovely way to start the new season as
two teams set out to play good football which both sets of
fans thoroughly enjoyed.
