Thrapston Town Jrs U8 lost 1-0 to an unfortunate
own goal to Corby Kingswood Swifts. Thrapston shaded the first
half and could have taken the lead just before half time with
a good effort from Ben Hansord. Corby scored the winner when
a corner was deflected into the goal by George Peet. It was
a spirited performance from Thrapston considering it was their
first ever league fixture.
