Lots of hard work at the training ground paid off this week, with the Yellows completing a very impressive win over Vicarage Farm. Straight from the whistle at the start of the game it was clear that this was going to be a good Yellows footballing performance, the early exchanges were all Thrapston with only the woodwork (twice) keeping the scores level. Some good work down the right and Connor whipped in a superb cross for Scott to rise bravely in front of the Vic Farm Keeper to plant a excellent header in the Vic Farm net to put us 0 - 1 up. Now we were really starting to play, with some of the one touch football a joy to watch. Scott then turned provider and sent in a great ball from the right - Max got in front of his marker, controlled the ball on his chest and struck a great volley into the back of the net. 0 - 2. Andrew on for Josh.

2nd half Hayden on for James. With the score line not showing a real reflection of our 1st half play we set out to put things right. A superbly weighted free kick from Connor saw Dean hit the sweetest of volleys to make the score 0 -3. With us now surging forward, another good piece of work and shot from Scott saw the Vic Farm keeper make a great save, only for Dean with great centre forward's instinct follow up to score his second and our fourth. 0 - 4. James on for Harry. With us now looking likely to score with every attack, Andrew scored a great goal, letting fly with his left foot and the ball flew into the Vic Farm net to complete the scoring. Josh on for Scott. Final score. Vic Farm 0 TTJFC 5.
