Thrapston’s Ryan Kirk found himself in goal after Keeper George Firth was knocked out as Higham scored their second of five goals. Despite the score the new Thrapston back four performed well first time out.
Thrapston’s best chances came as Carlos Lewis hit the post from a free kick and even when the ball clearly crossed the goal line later in the game no goal was given.
Top effort but not enough composure from the home team saw Higham take all 3 points.
