A game of two halves saw Thrapston’s Danny Smith take the lead with a goal in to the far corner of the net from out near the touch line. Unable to find space despite chances in the 18 yard box Thrapston were unable to capitalize on their lead.
The second half saw a much improved Ise level the score and were unlucky as Thrapston’s Ryan Kirk pressuring the away defence saw his shot blocked, only to be sliced high over the Keeper in to the net by Ise’s own defender.
Thrapston defense dug deep holding on as Ise pushed for the elusive equalizer.
