Blues earned a hard fought draw against a strong FC Aztec Braves side.
In the first 10 minutes of the opening period Blues paid too much respect to a quick physical Aztec side and were unlucky to go behind when a saving tackle by Nathan Butler unfortunately deflected the ball past Tom Stoker into the blues net.
As the half entered the last 5 minutes Blues confidence grew and they forced a number of corners with no reward.
A more assured Blues pressed forward in the second half and they were rewarded when George Peet guided the ball home for a deserved Blues equalizer. Both sides then went close to snatching the winner but the draw was probably a fair result.
