Ryan Kirk pushed the home team in to a one goal lead from a Carlos Lewis corner as Thrapston dominated play in the first half but failed to capitalize on their chances.
Rockingham came out the sharper in the second half quickly equalizing from an own goal only to be on the back foot again as Thrapston’s Danny Smith found the net from another Lewis corner 2 minutes later.
The tide then changed for Thrapston with 5 injuries in 20 minutes allowing Rockingham to go on to win 2-3.
