In windy conditions Thrapston entertained Boro Alliance at King John School. Thrapston started with a changed side from last week due to injuries, with Michael Cooke and Jacob Sanders starting as full backs. Thrapston took the game to Boro Alliance straight from the kick off with George Gardner scoring in the first five minutes. Thrapston then increased their lead with a powerful header from Josh Catchpole following a good corner from Jedd Whiteman. Thrapston kept up the tempo with some good tackles being made by Rob Cunningham and Michael Cooke; the home side increased their lead further with Josh Wesby scoring following a goal mouth scramble. Josh Wesby then got his second goal, scoring direct from a corner. Half time 4-0 to Thrapston.
With Thrapston totally dominating the midfield with Jedd Whiteman, George Gardner, Kai Robinson and Josh Catchpole all playing well, it was Josh Catchpole who made it 5-0 with a good strike from seven yards out. Boro Alliance got some consolation with a scrappy goal after the Thrapston goalkeeper failed to clear the ball. Kai Robinson then increased Thrapston’s lead with a good header following a great cross by Josh Wesby. Boro Alliance scored another goal making the final score Thrapston 6 – Boro Alliance 2.
