Thrapston Town Yellows started the new year as they had finished the last with a storming team performance. Thrapston took the game to swifts with Simon Glazebrook going close on two occasions, however as the half wore on Swifts came back into it and hit the bar. The second half continued as swifts swarmed forward, only fantastic saves from debutant goalkeeper Ewan Cox kept the score level. Eventually the Swifts got the goal and despite some further Thrapston pressure we were unable to find the deserved equaliser.
