Thrapston’s first half domination should have seen the away team go in to the second half with a comfortable lead but only Ryan Kirk found the net to put Burton one down despite hitting the post and cross bar.
Penning Burton in for much of the second half, Lewis Chinnock and Danny Smith repeatedly split the defense to allow Kirk to bag 3 more in open play and a penalty taking his tally to 5 goals. Full Back Conor Lewis headed a Carlos Lewis corner home for his first Thrapston goal to finish 0-6.
