In windy conditions both teams started well, with Vicarage Farm attacking with the wind. Both teams created several chances in the first ten minutes of play, but neither side took the advantage until a mistake by the Thrapston’s goalkeeper allowed Vicarage Farm to open the scoring. Thrapston won several corners after going a goal down, but Josh Catchpole and Sam Nolan failed to hit the target. Thrapston then equalized minutes later through Jason Styles, after he chased what seemed to be a lost cause bursting through the defence. Half Time 1–1
After a poor performance by Thrapston standards in the first half, Thrapston raised they game with Ryan Gavin, Michael Cooke, Josh Catchpole and Jedd Whiteman putting in some good work. Thrapston then went ahead after some good flick on’s by Josh Catchpole and Josh Wesby, giving Jedd Whiteman the opportunity to score. With Thrapston’s defence staying solid throughout the second half and an own goal by the Vicarage Farm defender, following a good corner by Josh Wesby. Thrapston won their 8th league game on the trot. Final Score 3 – 1
