Blues ground out a hard fought win with both teams struggling to come to terms with the difficult windy conditions.
In the first half Blues started with the strong wind at their backs and despite some good chances it was a left foot finish from Joseph Wright that was the only difference between the teams at the break.
In the second half playing up the slope and against the wind Blues created most of the clear cut chances and should have increased the lead with Harley Boddington blasting wide from a few yards out.
Eagles went close on a couple of occasions when indecision in the Blues defence left a striker in space but Eagles struggled to hit the target.
MOM – Joseph Wright – Good work rate always posing a threat.
