Blues were out muscled and out fought by a physical but skillful Kestrels side.
Blues started brightly but after they fell behind they couldn’t match the physical strength of Kestrels. Two long range efforts made it 3 – 0 at the break the third being allowed to stand even though the Blues keeper had been injured by a questionable challenge.
In the second half Blues were again victim of some robust tackling with the old adage “you may go past me, the ball may go past me but never both at the same time” being so relevant.
Two further goals piled on the misery with Tom Stoker struggling and obviously still in pain.
All in all a harsh lesson for Blues who failed to trouble the Kestrels keeper.
