Weekley Rovers Marvels 5 v Thrapston Town Yellow

Again it was a story of where the result did not reflect the fantastic way the Yellow team applied themselves today.
Playing uphill against a very strong wind in the first half, Thrapston started well and defended stoutly for the first 10 minutes. Once Marvels scored one, they went on and scored four with some neat set plays and despite some very good defending.
In the second half, Thrapston were able to get forward much more with Joe and Ben having attempts at goal.
Whilst Thrapston looked for a consolation, Marvels grabbed one more.
With some great performances from every single player it shows just how far these players have come on since the start of the season.
