Thrapston struggled to find composure against an aggressive Rockingham who took a 2-0 lead in to the second half after hard working Paul Spicker and Danny Smith were unable to control the home teams midfield.
A second half change of formation saw Thrapston rewarded as Ryan Kirk scored from the penalty spot after Will Anns was brought down in the box.
2 minutes to go, Jordan Ward followed up to slot past the keeper to give Thrapston a well deserved point at the final whistle.
