Despite chances in the first half, Thrapston’s Jordan Ward and Ryan Kirk were unable to score in a balanced 0-0 first half.
In the second, home team forward Callum Vorley hit he post but Burton took the lead after a one on one with Keeper George Firth. Thrapston’s determination finally paid off as Vorley, after twisting past two defenders was brought down in the box and Kirk equalized from the penalty spot.
