Attacking midfielder Will Anns supporting Thrapston’s Jordan Ward and Ryan Kirk kept Generals under pressure during the first 15 minutes but it was the home team taking advantage of a defensive error that saw them lead 1-0 at half time.
Generals made it 2-0 after substitute Carlos Lewis brought down a forward in the 18 yard box. Digging deep once again Thrapston’s Ryan Kirk on the turn hit a 25 yard screamer following up 5 minutes later beating the Generals Keeper to the ball to make it 2-2 at full time.
