In difficult conditions both teams battled well and tried to play good attacking football throughout the game. Thrapston went ahead with a Vicarage defender scoring an own goal, following a good delivery from Ryan Gavin. Jedd Whiteman then scored from the penalty spot, after a foul on Jason Styles. Vicarage Farm made the score 3-2 shortly after the re-start, but Thrapston increased their lead following another own goal. Thrapston continued to dominate the second half with well deserved goals from Josh Catchpole and George Gardner. Final score Vicarage Farm 2 – 6 Thrapston. This was a well deserved victory as all the players battled well and worked hard.
