In difficult conditions both teams battled well and tried to play good attacking football throughout the game. Thrapston went ahead with a Vicarage defender scoring an own goal, following a good delivery from Ryan Gavin. Jedd Whiteman then scored from the penalty spot, after a foul on Jason Styles. Vicarage Farm got back into the game after the Thrapston defence was stretched at the back. Kai Robinson finished well after some good football by Josh Wesby, Jason Styles and Jedd Whiteman. Vicarage Farm made the score 3-2 shortly after the re-start, but Thrapston increased their lead following another own goal. Thrapston continued to dominate the second half with well deserved goals from Josh Catchpole and George Gardner. Final score Vicarage Farm 2 – 6 Thrapston. This was a well deserved victory as all the players battled well and worked hard.
