Another tough side to play this week and the statistics would say that this was always going to be a close game. Thrapston started well and after three minutes went a goal ahead, after a good shot by Jack P, Alex was quick to follow up the save and put it in the back of the net. From then on Whitworths launched several attacks and more than once Christopher kept us ahead with some good saves and despite strong defending from Jack R, Whitworths equalized and then scored a second just before half time. The second half saw Thrapston create many chances, some good attacking from both Kyle and Braeden nearly resulted in more goals. Whitworths continued to attack but found the combination of Bram in defense and Harry in goal just too strong and never really looked like scoring again. Thrapston were unlucky not to score again and despite attacking right up to the final whistle were not able to find the equalizer.
