Thrapston were well beaten by a good Kites team. Thrapston played as 7 individuals and didn’t put two passes together throughout the game. Marking was non-existent and no pressure put on the ball allowing the Kites time and space which they duly exploited. Thrapston attacks petered out too often as one man tried to beat everyone instead of looking for his team mates in space. Nathan Butler grabbed a consolation for Thrapston late in the second half.
MOM – Joseph Wright: Ran tirelessly up front for little reward.
