A solid first half display was rewarded when Matthew Sharpe’s corner was met with a diving header that flew into the net from Joseph Wright. In the second half Thrapston again had chances to kill the game but Weekley equalized when Thrapston failed to put pressure on the ball from a corner. Weekley scored a second with seconds to go after Thrapston were caught 3 on 1 at the back.
