Thrapston lost 8-1 in a match in which the scoreline flattered Ise Lodge. Clearly Ise Lodge were the better team, and deserved to win, but Thrapston didn’t deserve to concede 8, at least 4 of the goals were very unlucky on Thrapston. Harley got Thrapston’s consolation goal halfway through the first half with a cool finish from the left. Half time they were 5-1 down, in the second half Thrapston played better and only conceded three more despite playing uphill.
Again it was good to see the teamwork and team ethic throughout the team against a team who have been playing together for three years.
