In a game dominated by both teams defensive efforts Thrapston bounced back from a heavy defeat the previous week to post their most committed and hardworking performance of the season. Every single player worked their socks off in a dogged performance which thwarted everything that Corby Kingswood Swifts threw at them – including a great second half shot that hit the Thrapston crossbar. Although the match saw little in the way of attempts on goal it was played at a high tempo with both teams trying to play attacking football. Well done to both sides.
