A difficult match against a well disciplined team. We
were always on the back foot after conceding our first goal
in less than a minute. That goal and the second after
5 minutes were as a result of poor concentration – rather
than the quality of the football we were playing.
Following the second goal we started to play some of our
best football. Some good midfield and forward play
saw Joe Wesby go close on a couple of occasions. At
half time we remained two down and well in the game.
Once again we were caught cold from the kick off in the
second half. Ise Lodge took full advantage of having the
slope in their favour throughout the half..
The score did not reflect the effort put in by the boys. Individually
they all kept trying. However, Special mention should
be made of Logan Dexter in goal, Keenan Ainge and Bradley
Willis in defence who were under pressure for most of the
second half.
Well done boys on the effort that you put in. Your
Manager has some thinking to do about tactics!
