Playing some great football right from the start the
Yellows were looking to get their 1st points on the board
after last weeks undeserved defeat. With the Generals on
the back foot the Yellows were in total control and an
early chance was carved out for Dean who made no mistake
and put us into a well deserved lead 1-0.
With us playing some good football surely it would only
be a matter of time before the next goal but the Generals
under immense pressure held out and from their only chance
of the 1st half somehow managed to grab an undeserved equaliser
to make the half time score 1 - 1.
With the wind behind them the Generals then started
to do what they do best hit the ball long and press forward, and
from a terrible mistake they took the lead 1 -2, but still
we perservered with our passing game. Only some good defending
from the Generals kept them in front. Again the inability
to deal with the long punt cost us dear 1 -3, still chances
were being created at the other end but we couldn't quite
find the end product. With the help of the wind the Generals
were putting us on the back foot and added a fourth to
make the final score. 1 - 4.
Some bad errors cost us dearly today. A good 1st half
performance follwed by a poor 2nd half performance.
