Both teams competed well in this opening fixture. Burton
went ahead after a missed judged bounce by Oli Ventham. Thrapston
leveled through Jedd Whiteman, after good work by George
Gardner. Burton then took the lead again to make it 2-1 at
half time. Thrapston’s Kai Robinson made it 2-2 just
after the break with a neat finish, the same player scored
again after a good cross by Josh Catchpole. Burton equalizer
straight from the restart making it 3-3. Burton finished
the game with 10 men. Result 3-3.
