From kick off Thrapston controlled the game, good passing
and positioning gave opportunities. Jack P. was most dangerous
and scored. Kyle passed perfectly and was getting the ball
in front of the goal. One deflection, goal! Ise Lodge did
not take it lying down and they were dangerous on the breaks.
Chris had excellent saves in goal, but two good attacks
and 2-2 at half time.
Strong defending and clean tackles
from Daniel and Jack R. kept them away from goal. Upfront
good passing from Daniel kept Jack P and Ryan in the box.
One excellent strike from Jack P:2-3. Ryan saw the keeper
loosing attention and quickly kicked in the 2-4. The one
real foul gave Daniel his chance. Beautiful chip, but the
keeper got it. Jack P. almost had the rebound.
The team has
played very strong and fully deserved to win.
