Thrapston sparkled like stars today to run out comprehensive winners over the trailing Comets of Weekley Rovers.
Braeden bagged a brace to set the ball rolling in the first half, which Thrapston totally dominated to the extent that Harry in goal never laid a finger on the ball. But despite all the possession and chances created this is how it would remain until half time.
Plenty of changes were made during the game and it was heartening to see that Thrapston retained their fluency throughout. The second half saw the goals shared out with Ryan, Kyle, Bram and Alex all scoring with excellent finishes.
All the team played really well and “did the managers and parents proud” and showed a lot of character bouncing back from defeat last week to produce some lovely football – keep it up lads.
