The Yellow team produced an outstanding display to win their
opening match 2-1 against newcomers Desborough Town.
Thrapston went 2-0 up with two great runs from Harley who
finished sweetly each time. Desborough scored a fortunate
goal just before half time from a corner. In the second half
Thrapston showed great team spirit and determination to keep
Desborough from scoring an equalizer and could have gone
further ahead with chances from Daniel and Harley. However
some brilliant defending from everyone and some great saves
from Ben gave the Yellows a deserved victory.
