Ise Lodge Eagles won this match with a great first half performance, Thrapston were 1 down within two minutes as the early start seemed to take it’s toll. Thrapston conceded three more in the first half and it looked ominous for them for the second period. However in the second half Thrapston woke up and found themselves and only conceded one more goal despite playing uphill whilst also creating a couple of chances themselves. This being only our fourth match together it was a good learning experience of how teamwork, positional play, passing and concentration for the whole match will bring rewards. If we play like we did in the second half every week where the players gave everything and supported each other things can only improve.
